When creating a meal plan, you will find the nutritional goals at the bottom of the information page.

There, you can choose the micro/macronutrient for which you want to set a goal and define it.

When creating the meal plan, the goals will automatically update based on the foods that are added to the plan.

Information step

This is where you can plan your goals. To do this, enter the desired data and then set the desired values.

Values can be entered as:

  • Fixed value

  • A percentage of the daily calorie intake

  • A ratio relative to the person's body weight.

In this example, we have entered that the person should consume 50% of their calories in the form of carbohydrates, 25% in protein, and 25% in fat.

Source of calories and weight

The weight data comes from what is entered in the client's file.

Meal plan:

Client file:

In order for the basal metabolic rate to be calculated, you generally need to have entered at least the client's weight and height, then their age (date of birth).

Design step

If you decide to create a plan for your clients, the percentage of the goals will be filled in automatically when you add foods.

Client app

In order for the client to have access to their statistics, the professional must have authorized it in the visibility settings.

⚠️ Warning

Some clients struggle with eating disorders.

It is therefore up to the professional to decide whether to give them access to this information or not.

💡 Tip

It is possible to create goals but leave the plan empty (without any foods).

This allows the client to have a goal but fill in their food diary themselves.
