What is file storage in Hexfit

Hexfit contains a cloud storage. You can therefore import files (PDF, photos, videos, etc.) into it in order to share them or not with your client.

Note that all the published forms of document type interventions will also be stored here.

File visibility

To know or modify the visibility of a file:

  1. Click on the “contacts” tab and choose the client you want to share a file with.

    1. If it is a group, click on the “groups” tab at the top of the screen before selecting it.

  2. Click on the “Cloud Storage” tab.

  3. Select the desired file.

  4. At the bottom of the file, you can see its level of visibility.

  5. If “Me + my client”, My company + my client” or “Everyone” is selected, your client will be able to see it in their app. Otherwise, the file will be invisible to him.

  6. To change the visibility, click on the blue letters.

⚠️ Only files of which you are the creator can be modified.

Add documents

  1. From the “Cloud Storage” tab, click on “Add a document”.

  2. Select the file to import and double-click on it.

  3. You should receive a confirmation message at the bottom of the screen.

Delete a file

  1. Open the file.

  2. Click on “Actions” at the top of the page.

  3. Choose the “delete” option.

Create folders

You can tidy up your documents by creating folders. To do this :

  1. From the Cloud Storage tab, click on “Add a folder”.

  2. Enter the name and click the new “Add Folder” button.

⚠️ You can rename and delete folders that you have created, but not those that are automatically created during interventions.

Groups

⚠️ Please note that folders added to a group can only be viewed by customers (visibility permitting).

In other words, customers will not be able to add files to them.

File sharing by client

Your client can also share documents with his professional(s). (For example, photos or short videos.)
